Children’s Book Week 2026: Symphony of Stories

CBCA Children’s Book Week celebrates Australian books, authors and illustrators for children.

Book Week is the longest running children’s festival in Australia. Every year, Book Week, which is run by the Children’s Book Council of Australia, aims to highlight and promote the importance and enjoyment of reading among young Australians.

Many schools, public libraries and children’s organisations run activities and dress-up parades throughout the week.
